President Buhari's 2019 Presidential Campaign Posters spotted in Abuja

With the 2019 Presidential Election beckoning with each passing day and candidates already making moves, it appears the call for President Buhari's re-election in 2019 by some Nigerians is gaining gradual grounds as campaign posters endorsing the president for a second term were spotted in Abuja on Thursday.

Premium Times reports that campaign posters bearing President Buhari's image alongside Vice President Yemi Osinbajo were seen in major streets in the country's capital as well as on bus shelters.

The inscription on the posters which was sponsored by a certain Comrade Felix Ubokan read;

"We endorse you for 2019: Courtesy: Niger Delta Youths, Women and Security Movement For Buhari/Osinbajo".

Although President Buhari is yet to formally declare his intention, the call for him to run for a second term appears to be on the rise as former Abia state governor, Orji Uzor-Kalu during an interview on Channels TV last month stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will force President Buhari to run for presidency in the 2019 General Election. Last week, President Buhari during a 2-day visit to Kano state expressed his confidence in winning should he run for a second term following the massive turnout of people who welcomed him to the state.
