'Nine persons were arrested and killed by DSS after visiting me'- IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu

The ‘Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)’ self-proclaimed leader, ‘Nnamdi Kanu’ has revealed that the Department of State Services (DSS) has killed nine people who paid him a visit in prison.

Nnamdi Kanu accused the DSS of arresting the people who came to visit him and tracing them to their homes in Anambra.

According to The Cable, the IPOB leader made the accusation through his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor.

Ejiofor said;

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have also accused the Nigerian government of conniving with the United Kingdom to kill Nnamdi Kanu using non-traceable poison.

In December 2016, 16 EU Parliament Members called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, stating that his detention was a violation of human rights. [Read here if you missed it]

Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in October 2015 for treason and has been in jail ever since.
