English Premier League outfit, ‘Swansea City’ are set to appoint ‘Bayern Munich’ assistant, ‘Paul Clement’ as their new manager following the departure of ‘Bob Bradley’ who was sacked last week.
Paul Clement who was formerly a coach in England during his time with Championship side, ‘Derby County’ have been in close door conversations with Swansea and is expected to take up the mantle of leadership.
The 44-year old is likely to be at Swansea's next game when they visit ‘Crystal Palace’ at ‘Selhurst Park’ after which he might be officially announced as the new manager of the club.
Paul Clement was sacked as ‘Derby County’ manager in February 2016 after eight months in charge before joining Bayern Munich as an assistant.
Former Manchester United assistant, ‘Ryan Giggs’ and Welsh manager, ‘Chris Coleman’ were amongst the frontrunners for the Swansea position before Paul Clement emerged as favorite to be appointed. He was also interviewed by Swansea before former manager, Bob Bradley's appointment.
Paul Clement is set to become Swansea City's third manager of the season if he should be officially appointed by the club.
Swansea City have been absolutely poor this season and find themselves at the bottom of the Premier League table after picking up 12 points from nineteen league games.
