Manchester United have accepted a £22m transfer bid from Everton for French midfielder, ‘Morgan Schneiderlin’.
The 27-year old who has failed to make Jose Mourinho's first team since the Portuguese arrival last summer will be heading to Goodison Park with the hopes of reigniting his career under his former manager, ‘Ronald Koeman’.
Schneiderlin joined United from Southampton for a fee of £25m in the summer of 2015 under ex-manager, ‘Louis Van Gaal’ but failed to live up to expectation at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho who spoke after his team's victory over Hull City in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final stated that Schneiderlin was likely to join Everton.
The Portuguese said;
"Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward informed me that the situation is close. Morgan is more than probably going to Everton. I am sad and happy, sad because I like him and he could be an option for us, happy because this is what he wants, to play every game and be important in the team".
Everton manager, Ronald Koeman has worked with Schneiderlin during his time as Southampton manager and will be looking to help the Frenchman reignite the fine form he showed at the St. Mary's stadium which attracted United in the first place.
Everton striker, ‘Oumar Niasse’ has also agreed personal terms with Hull City pending a loan move to the KCom stadium where things seem to be going wrong. The 26-year old has only made seven appearances for the Toffees since his £13.5m move from Lokomotiv Moscow in February 2016.
