NFF set to reveal Super Eagles' plans and camping site for 2018 World Cup in Russia

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has indicated it will soon reveal the plans as well as the camping site for the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

According to Vanguard, NFF Technical Director, Bitrus Bewarang disclosed that both the technical department and crew were working tirelessly to ensure a hitch-free World Cup for the Super Eagles.

Bewarang stated that the technical department has been liaising with the technical adviser and his crew to ensure the "right players" are invited to the tournament next year.

According to Bewarang, the NFF has entrusted the responsibility of selecting a comfortable camping site in Russia to the Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr.

The Technical Director said;

"The technical department is the engine room of the NFF and we have been liaising with the Technical Adviser and his crew to ensure the right players are invited to the World Cup next year".

"The federation has entrusted the responsibility of the camping site on the Eagles’ Head Coach and he should get back to the NFF soon for the site to be deliberated upon before finally revealing the location to Nigerians".

"But I can assure football-loving fans and all stakeholders that a good venue will be chosen for the players to prepare adequately well for the World Cup".

According to reports, the Super Eagles will camp in the southern part of Russia although the exact location is yet to be disclosed.

Nigeria kick off their World Cup campaign against Croatia on June 16, 2018, before facing Iceland and Argentina in Group D.
